Whenever some friends gather at a place, they usually swap different type of stories. Ghost stories are the most popular topic. People swap ghost stories at gatherings like bonfires, night stays and other get-togethers to scare the creeps out of each other.

Every ghost story has its own charm. Some of them have witches while others have Dracula etc. The stories with children starring in them are the scariest and creepy. The young people, especially children who have something unresolved in their lives, end up being ghosts. 1: Railroad children of San Antonio: Texas has many local legends revolving around the city. One of the most haunting stories is the railroad children of San Antonio. Ghost children are reported to be seen on the bumper of the cars and the rails of the train.

According to the local residents, a group of children playing on the tracks were struck and killed by a train. Now the ghosts of these children remain wandering around those tracks. If someone parks his car on the tracks, the ghosts of the children roll the car to safety. Some people even claim that they have seen the fingerprints of the children on the bumpers of their cars.

2: Ghost children of New Orleans: New Orleans is popular due to its haunted status. Many buildings are known to be haunted including the Andrew Jackson hotel located at the centre of the city. The hotel had a major fire swept in the 19th century which killed many people including the children.

The hotel was completely renovated after the fire and was opened for the guests but still, many guests have reported seeing children roaming in the halls of hotels, lost and crying. Creepy enough!

3: Cry-baby Bridge: Seems like it is the name of a bridge but strangely many bridges all over America share the name. These bridges have earned the name because they are the home to the ghost infants who remain weeping. The stories behind the bridges are quite dark.

Perhaps the spookiest bridges among them are located in Alderson, Oklahoma. The tale goes that a young girl was repeatedly raped by her own father. The woman had to throw her unwanted offspring off this bridge. Today, the weeping sounds coming from the bridge is linked with that unwanted offspring.

4: The Sobbing child of Little Moreton Hall: The English countryside has a number of old castles and homes that have been converted into hotels, museums and other attractions over time. This naturally makes them vulnerable to supernatural activities.

These building may scare you a lot. One of these buildings is located in Cheshire, England, at Little Moreton Hall. The overnight visitors have reported experiencing the visit of a child spectre who wail and sob throughout the night in the hall of the chapel.

5: Ghost children caught on camera: if you are on the way to be a ghost hunter, the Pen-Y-Lan Hall in North Wales, England would be the best spot for you. The old building has the ghosts of a boy and girl who are seen on the windows and are caught many times on the camera.

Many people are usually seen claiming that they have seen a radiant boy appearing out of nowhere around them and disappearing suddenly. 11: Black-eyes ghosts: In the early 19th century, countless children lost their lives in rural England due to diphtheria. These children still haunt the places where they died with wide black eyes.

12: Ghost child orbs: A woman named Penny claimed that she and her father have repeatedly seen the glowing orbs roaming through their homes at night. Once, an orb grew larger and took the shape of a child before vanishing. Spooky!

14: The Spy House: A most haunted building of the country built by Thomas Whitlock in the 17th century. Visitors have reported seeing children playing on the lawn wearing clothes from another era.
